Nick went on a business trip a little while ago and decided that he wanted to take his kids with him or maybe they were trying to go with him. Either way these pictures are just too cute!
I know I say this every year, but I cannot believe I am old enough to have a 9 year old! I am very glad though that I have this 9 year old. Aubrey has grown so much in the last year (height and otherwise). This year Aubrey had a late-over Halloween party with 18 girls (yes I said 18). It was from 6-10pm. There was lots of screaming, crying, and pulling of hair. Oh wait, that was me (just kidding). The girls had fun playing mummy wrap, dead body (guess what food is each body part), strobe light dance, and several other games. They also watched Tower of Tower and enjoyed that too. Thanks to the Grandparents who sent Aubrey money. She saved up enough to buy her American Girl Doll.
This year the kids wanted to be characters from Star Wars. Rachel and I made Aubrey's Leia costume, Isaac had his costume from last year, Nick's costume was on sale online, Maddie had to go against the rest and be princess Jasmine, and I couldn't resist making Lucas baby Yoda. The kids had classroom parties (I helped in Isaac's class. I had to read 5 books 5 times. I almost lost my voice), a Halloween parade, and did lots of trick or treating. I love Halloween!!
Cornbelly's is a fun Fall/Halloween extravaganza that we went to twice this year. It was so much fun. There was a princess area, train rides, jumping pillows, a huge corn maze, and lots more. It was fun seeing my sister there too!
This is what happens when your then 8 year old gets a hold of your camera. Too funny! Maybe Santa needs to bring her a camera of her own for Christmas.
Lucas Zachary Moss was blessing on September 5th 2010. We are so glad that this little guy is in our family. He is such a happy baby and makes his brother and sisters laugh. We missed those family members who were not able to be there.
The wind made a mess of the chocolate fountain, but it was still really yummy!!
