Rock Star!!

I enjoy throwing birthday parties for my children. Since Aubrey is much older and mature this year she wanted to have a party where she could hang out, play Just Dance, and watch a movie with her friends. Of course I had to help her come up with a theme! We decided on Rock Star and I got started planning. This party was easy because all I did was the food, decorations, and cake and Aubrey took care of everything during the party. She had 8 friends end up coming and I think they all had fun and felt like rock stars! Aubrey loved it because her Dad took all of her siblings out for the evening so she had no distractions. I loved it because I got to sit and do nothing most of the time and didn't have to entertain.

He did this while we were cleaning up. There is never a dull moment with this kid.

Last Soccer Game

Isaac loves soccer! He is fun to watch because he is quick and very aggressive. I am very proud of how far he has come and how much he has improved (must be the coach). Isaac's team (named the buffalo eels) won their last soccer game against a team the lost to before. Even though it was FREEZING we still had a good time watching him. At least I did. The other kids went and hid in the car. :)

Happy Birthday Aubrey!!

I love this girl (when she isn't in one of her grumpy moods :) )! I say this every year, but I cannot believe she is as old as she is. I am not old enough to have an 11 year old! For her birthday she got to go to a missionary baptism, Isaac's last soccer game, to the movies to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days, to the American Girl store, and to dinner. She got everything she wanted and then some. She loves the hat she is wearing in these picture that our really good friends and old neighbors sent to her. I am so grateful for her and all that she does as the oldest in our family. She is such a good big sister (most of the time)! Happy 11th Birthday Aubrey!

Lucas loves to sing and thought it was fun to sing to Aubrey all day long. Too cute!!
