Isaac's 9th Birthday Party

Isaac was going to have his birthday party a few weeks ago, but because it was right when Spring Break was starting quite a few of his friends couldn't make it. We moved it a few weeks and most everyone could come this time. It was a Lego theme. They built lego cars and raced them, ate homemade lego gummies and marshmallow lego heads, played basketball, ate homemade pizza, ate more candy, watched some Lego Chima, and ate some cake. All I have to say is boys are wild and crazy and I am past exhausted! It probably didn't help that I fed them so much sugar. Isaac had fun, but he did say he missed all of his friends from Utah and wished they could have been there.

Cheer

For the past few months Aubrey has been participating twice a week before school in cheerleading. She has had so much fun. Last Friday she got to cheer at the rival game between our teachers/6th graders and those of Cub Run. It was fun to watch her and she was the only one who was willing to paint her whole face. Goooo Aubrey! She was also and is still in a running club twice a week before school. She will be running a 5K in May.

Easter Pictures

Just see for yourselves. . . My favorite is all of Lucas' faces. He is so animated.

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny decided to come again this year. Aubrey found her basket up in a closet.
Maddie and Lucas found their baskets in the bathtub.
Isaac found his basket under the sink in the downstairs bathroom.
Lucas got a Jake and the Neverland Pirates shirt and wore it for 3 days straight. He would only change his pants.

Easter Extravaganza!

Every year a family in our ward puts together an Easter party. This year it was at a local farm and there was so much to do. If you think I go crazy with parties you need to meet this family. There were all kinds of games with points and prizes, a scavenger hunt at the farm, lunch, an egg hunt, and raw egg games.
Coconut Lime Cupcakes that I made. Nick actually LOVED these (and he doesn't really like cake)!
Centerpieces I was asked to make.

Snow!

Just when we thought Winter was over and it was time for Spring we got another snow storm. This of course was the first day of spring break. The kids had lots of fun playing in it and even made a snow cave. Several days before it snowed they told me that they miss playing in the snow. I guess they got what they wanted!

Greek Festival

The 5th graders spent several weeks learning about Ancient Greece and when they were done they got to have a festival. I decided to go to the school to get some pictures and video of them dancing and singing. They were also fed some really yummy Greek food. Lucas loves going to the school to see his siblings. Aubrey is such a good big sister. She had fun showing her little brother to everyone.

Isaac is 9!

Look how big Isaac is!! I cannot be more proud of him. He is an awesome basketball and soccer player. He is a great big (and little brother) and son. I think other than complaining about constantly being bored and hungry he is perfect child. ;) For Isaac's birthday dinner he wanted homemade orange chicken and potstickers. For dessert I made him some Reese's brownies. YUM!
