Hannah Montana

Aubrey found out a few weeks ago that the Hannah Montana in 3-D concert would be on the Disney Channel (she has been begging to go see it at the theater) and I have never seen her more excited. She told me I had to get her glasses from Walmart so she could watch it. So I went to Walmart and of course they were all out. Aubrey was devastated! I remembered that my sister had mentioned something about getting some so I called her and was able to get a pair from her (Thanks again!!). Aubrey counted down the days until Saturday and then all day was so excited to watch it. While watching it she said it felt like Hannah was in the room. I also said something about Hannah and she got mad at me and told me not to talk about her Hannah like that. It turned out to be a pretty good concert and Aubrey had a good time. (I think Nick secretly liked it too).

Gorilla

I thought I would further explain Isaac's wish to be a gorilla. Lately he has been taking his shirt off and when I asked him why he said because I am a gorilla. He then started pounding on his chest and running around the house. I am not sure if he really wants to be a gorilla or just have and excuse to take his shirt off.

Three Wishes

So last night at dinner we asked Aubrey and Isaac what they would wish for if a genie gave them three wishes. Their responses essentially indicate that I should be very, very worried.

Aubrey's Responses (rattled off as if she'd obviously considered this before):
1) To be rich
2) To be popular
3) To be beautiful

Isaac's Responses (very deliberate, choosing carefully):
1) A tractor
2) To turn into a gorilla
3) To be able to sleep on the roof

Silly kids

I cannot believe how silly my kids are (really I can). I love the way they pose for pictures and how they love to make other people laugh. Nick and I are so blessed to have our three silly kids. I wouldn't trade their silliness for anything. Thanks Casey for taking such cute pictures!

Big Girl

Madelyn has officially turned 18 months! What exactly is so exciting about that? She is now able to go to NURSERY and I have my Sundays back! Woohoo! Actually behind all of this excitement is a little sadness. My little girl is no longer a baby :( There was no bye bye mama or kisses blown. She sat right down and started playing with all of the other kids. She even got a bloody nose while playing Ring Around the Rosie and decided that being comforted by her teacher was enough. I couldn't believe how easy it was and how big she has become. Now onto potty training :) (for those of you who know my kids that is a pretty hilarious statement).

I am so cute!

Sprinklers

While Nick was getting ready for his camping trip last weekend the girls decided it would be fun to get wet. Instead of running through the sprinklers Madelyn ran into the sprinklers. She ended up pretty wet, but had tons of fun.

Hilarious!

My sister-in-law took the funniest pictures of Madelyn last Sunday. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Our daughter is quite the little actress. I think she gets it from her Fathers side :)

Fireworks!!

My kids LOVE fireworks. Because of this fact we have seen lots of fireworks over the last few days. It has been fun to celebrate the birth of our country with my family. It makes me appreciate what I have and realize how blessed we all really are.

Don't ask!

Lost Tooth!

After many weeks of Aubrey not wanting us to pull out her top front tooth, it finally fell out (at 2:00am). Aubrey faithfully put her tooth under her pillow and when she awoke the next morning she came to our room and was in tears. The only thing we understood was "tooth fairy and didn't come". The tooth fairy forgot to take her tooth, but after a little searching Aubrey found that she had moved around too much while sleeping and the money had fallen down in between her bed. She also found some special fairy tattoos on the floor.

Engaged! (No not me)

I guess I should have posted this quite a while ago, but my baby sister is getting hitched! (And yes I will be doing her cake.)

All together now . . . Awwwwwwww!

Party Time!

For my niece's 4th birthday we drove up to her house and went to her Princess Party. My sister went all out! I would have to say that party planning and cake decorating definitely runs in the family. The kids had tons of fun and the cake was so cute. She even made a throne to take pictures on. I would have had more fun if hours earlier I hadn't sustained a concussion (soccer isn't so much fun anymore). My mom and other sister also came and they seemed to also have tons of fun.

Discovery Museum

KSL opened a new exhibit at the Discovery Museum and since Nick works with them he was given free tickets. Since we have never been to this museum we were all very excited to see what it was all about. I was very impressed with everything there was to do and Nick and I even had fun playing. The only sad part was that my battery died on my camera so I only got a few pictures to share. If you haven't been I highly recommend going!
