First Snow

All I have to say is YUCK, but the kids sure did have fun and were cute all bundled up.

Cake Demo

I was asked to do a cake demonstration for our ward's Super Saturday (a day for the women in our church to get together and learn fun stuff). I decided to teach everyone how to make marshmallow fondant and ended up making this cake for them. What do you think? I actually think it turned out pretty good. I'm no Duff (from Ace of Cakes), but it was fun

Nick is 32!

More Cakes!

My neighbor has been keeping me pretty busy lately making cakes for her family. It has been fun and I have learned ALOT! The first one is a dutch oven with peach cobbler "cooking" in it and the second is Pikachu from Pokemon.

Owdigowder and Helicocker

No I did not make up some new swear words! Maddie on the other hand does have a cute way of pronouncing certain words. Watch the video so you can hear how she says alligator and helicopter. She also has a new favorite song "Popular" from Wicked. She loves to sing it as loud as she can so everyone can hear her. What a cutie!

Mother/Son Activity

Our church had a fun Mother/Son Activity a few weeks ago. We had tacos, took fun pictures, and played tug of war (of course the sons won, but we made them fall on their bottoms). We also built towers out of toothpicks and marshmallows. Isaac and I won for the tallest tower, but it was more fun watching Sara and Melissa compete to see who could get theirs the tallest without falling over. It was fun to spend time with Isaac.

Gymnastics

Both Aubrey and Isaac have advanced to Level 2 in their gymnastics classes. Isaac is now in an all boy class and loves it. Even though he is the youngest and smallest he is able to beat all the others in their "competitions".
