Daddy Daughter Dance

Every year the elementary school has a themed Daddy Daughter Dance. This year the theme was Valentine and Nick got to take both of his girls. They had lots of fun, but weren't very happy that I made them take pictures before hand.

Church History Museum FHE

A few Mondays ago we decided to go up to Salt Lake for dinner at the Lion House Pantry and to see the kids Book of Mormon exhibit at the Church History Museum. Dinner was really yummy and the museum was interesting and fun. The kids really enjoyed everything there. In the Book of Mormon exhibit they had an area where you could dress-up and dance. Maddie spent over an hour there and now says she wants a dress just like they had. Lucas and Nick even got into the fun.

I opened the door to this beautiful bouquet one random day a few weeks ago. It wasn't a special occasion either. I wonder if I should be suspicious? :)

Snow

We haven't had much snow this year. These are some pictures of a day when we got enough that the kids could actually play in. Maddie and Lucas were sooo excited! Maddie built her own snowman and Lucas made snow Lucas'.

Maddie turns 5!

My Maddie Moss is 5!! This year she decided to take friends to see 3D Beauty and the Beast. Little did I know that she wanted to invite 10 (plus her two cousins) friends and that every single one of them would come. We has so much fun though. They had pizza, cake, and opened presents first at our house and then (with the help of my husband and friend) we took them all to the movie theater. The girls were all so well behaved and ate lots of popcorn. They loved the movie and Maddie keeps saying she wants another birthday. Oh and thanks to my sister who babysat Lucas and Isaac while we went!!

Our family also celebrated Maddie's birthday. She got a squinkie holder, more squinkies, a V reader, and a princess cupcake set. She also got a yummy cookie dough ice cream cake.

Lego Robotics

Our neighbor's work decided to sponsor a Lego Robotic team this year. Our kids were invited to join, but really didn't know what they were getting into. Every Friday for a few months they went and worked on building and programming a robot and making obstacles for that robot. They had no idea there would be a final competition until a few weeks before. They didn't end up getting to go to state, but they had fun anyways!!
