I decided to add our Disney pictures to this post being that it has been so long since we went. Looking at these pictures now makes me really want to go back, but it probably won't be for a few years :( Aubrey was so excited to turn 8 and also that she would be doing so at Disneyland. She spent the day being spoiled and being told Happy Birthday by every cast member she came across. We love you Aubrey and cannot believe you are already 8! Thanks for being such a kind, caring, loving, helpful, crazy, and adventurous daughter and sister.
Halloween was very exciting this year (mostly because it meant we were leaving for our Disneyland vacation). On Friday I helped out in both Aubrey and Isaac's classes and was able to watch them parade around their school. Saturday morning we left for St. George and our Disneyland vacation. We went trick or treating with my parents and got lots of big candy bars (I think we will go down there every year). It was also really nice to not have to bundle up this year.
I was asked to do a cake demonstration for our ward's Super Saturday (a day for the women in our church to get together and learn fun stuff). I decided to teach everyone how to make marshmallow fondant and ended up making this cake for them. What do you think? I actually think it turned out pretty good. I'm no Duff (from Ace of Cakes), but it was fun
My neighbor has been keeping me pretty busy lately making cakes for her family. It has been fun and I have learned ALOT! The first one is a dutch oven with peach cobbler "cooking" in it and the second is Pikachu from Pokemon.
