Christmas part 1

Since we were heading to Utah this year for Christmas we had our family Christmas on the morning of Christmas Eve. We opened presents from each other and then finished packing and left to catch our airplane. The kids didn't even have time to play with any of their new toys.

DC Temple

Us and lots of other people decided to go see the lights at the DC Temple. We went inside the visitor center, but the lines to see the exhibits were really long so we stayed outside most of the time.

Choir

At Aubrey's new school they have choir during school. This year for their Winter performance she tried out for a group solo and made it. Her song was in another language. She did such a great job!!

The Many Faces of Lucas

This is what he does when he is thinking about something.

DC fun

Never a dull moment when we go into Washington DC. Just next time we won't be going the day after Thanksgiving. This year it was really busy.

Dinosaur from Night at the Museum 2

Maddie really wants a doll house like this one (and this picture only shows half of it). We told her to start saving her money.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we had a small family dinner at our house. It was nice in a way, but we missed being with all of our family. I spent all day cooking while this kids helped clean the house. After dinner we went over to a friends house for dessert where played capture the flag and lots of other fun games. I also decided not to go out black Friday shopping the next morning for the first time ever (I shopped online). It was actually a quiet relaxing holiday.

Maid

I thought I would post some pictures of what I do all day since my family thinks I sit around eating and watching tv. I guess these pictures prove they are right. Not only do I sit around and do nothing, but I force my 2 year old to do all the work. Bwahahaha!

This kid is actually crazy and loves the vacuum. He will randomly pull it out of the closet, plug it in, and vacuum a room (with adult supervision of course). With his Christmas money he decided to buy a cleaning cart/vacuum of his own that actually sort of works. He uses it all the time. Crazy kid!
