Our friends the Prices invited Nick and I out to dinner tonight. Of course we jumped at the chance, got a babysitter, and headed to my favorite restaurant; The Cheesecake Factory! It was so very yummy! Through dinner we were trying to decide what to do after because the night was still young. We looked into movies, but there were no times that worked. Finally we decided to go play Laser Tag at Liberty Land. I was a little hesitant being that I haven't played since I was in high school. All I have to say is I am ADDICTED! It was so much fun mostly because we played boys against girls. It took us at least 5 minutes to find each other in there. I have never been to a more fun lazer tag place (not sure what exactly to call it). It was well worth the $6 (which is very reasonable). I would highly recommend Laser Tag at Liberty Land!
Play the Wii thanks to Rachel and Jonathan for bringing it. Aubrey really got into Guitar Hero and was really good at it. Maybe that will have to be the next game we buy.
Go to the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. This site has some of the oldest and best preserved dinosaur tracks. It is pretty much a building built over where they are still working to unearth the tracks. It was more for the older kids, but at least Maddie had fun playing in the sand. I really would have loved to spend more time there, but the kids got restless.

Go swimming. It was a little cold outside so we ended up swimming in the indoor pool. Maddie would only put her feet in and never actually got in the water. She also enjoyed working on her tan. Aubrey and Isaac just thought it was cool that they got to swim in the same pool as Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay. Oh, and for those of you wondering, yes I did have to save Isaac from drowning yet again. It happens every time we go swimming. What are we going to do with that kid?

And go hiking. My parents, sister, and brother-in-law took Aubrey and Isaac hiking to an Indian cave. It is a huge cave where Indians once lived. Aubrey and Isaac's favorite part was a narrow passage that only they could fit through (I think Jonathan could too) that they name "the squishy".

We also did some shopping, hair cutting, and lots of eating thanks to my mom. She made us yummy meals every night! It was nice to get away and not have to cook or do dishes and especially nice to have more people to entertain my kids. My mom would take the kids each morning (since they get up early) so that I could sleep in. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come and invade your house. We LOVE you!!
