HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

We just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to two of the most important women in our lives; (We love our Grandmas too!) our Mothers. I'm not sure what we would do without them! From babysitting and cleaning to entertaining our children and cooking for us, they are amazing! They are both such good examples to us and their granchildren. Thanks for everything you guys do! We love you!

Nick's Mom
Amber's Mom
Aren't they cute and very very young looking :)

*Stay tuned for a post with updated pictures! Yes, I finally got a camera (not from the internet).

Brother

Lately Maddie has been calling Isaac "brother". She says things like; "help me brother" and "brother, I'm hungry". It is so cute! It is fun to see the interaction between Isaac and Maddie. Isaac is very protective of his little sister and Maddie looks up to Isaac and wants to do everything he is doing. I'm glad that they get along so well (most of the time).

Cheesecake and Laser Tag!!

Our friends the Prices invited Nick and I out to dinner tonight. Of course we jumped at the chance, got a babysitter, and headed to my favorite restaurant; The Cheesecake Factory! It was so very yummy! Through dinner we were trying to decide what to do after because the night was still young. We looked into movies, but there were no times that worked. Finally we decided to go play Laser Tag at Liberty Land. I was a little hesitant being that I haven't played since I was in high school. All I have to say is I am ADDICTED! It was so much fun mostly because we played boys against girls. It took us at least 5 minutes to find each other in there. I have never been to a more fun lazer tag place (not sure what exactly to call it). It was well worth the $6 (which is very reasonable). I would highly recommend Laser Tag at Liberty Land!

Teacher Appreciation

As a kick-off to our school's teacher appreciation week I got to decorate Aubrey's teacher's door. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do. I think it turned out really cute and hope Aubrey's teacher likes it (we won't know until Monday). Thanks Shelley and Amberly for all of your help!

Easter

My wonderful neighbor and friend has been letting me borrow her camera so I can keep up with my busy kids. Easter was lots of fun this year! We dyed eggs with our neighbors, got lots of stuff from Easter Bunny, and went on an egg hunt at Grandpa and Grandma Moss' house. Somewhere in all the chocolate bunnies we were able to teach the kids the real meaning of Easter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to one of my very good friends Heather! Since we have moved it has been harder to keep in contact, but I still consider her one of my bestest friends. :)Sorry I couldn't make it today, but I hope this makes up for it. That and going to dinner or dessert soon!!

St. George

Even though St. George wasn't as warm or as sunny as it usually is, the kids and I still had fun (we wished Daddy could have come too though)! It was nice to see Grandma and Grandpa (and Rachel and Jonathan) and get away for a few days. We got to:

Play with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids love to get tickled by my Dad and run away from him. Maddie liked to sit with Grandpa in his favorite chair. When she would get scared while watching a movie she would run over and cuddle with Grandpa. Too cute.
Play the Wii thanks to Rachel and Jonathan for bringing it. Aubrey really got into Guitar Hero and was really good at it. Maybe that will have to be the next game we buy.Go to the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. This site has some of the oldest and best preserved dinosaur tracks. It is pretty much a building built over where they are still working to unearth the tracks. It was more for the older kids, but at least Maddie had fun playing in the sand. I really would have loved to spend more time there, but the kids got restless.
Go swimming. It was a little cold outside so we ended up swimming in the indoor pool. Maddie would only put her feet in and never actually got in the water. She also enjoyed working on her tan. Aubrey and Isaac just thought it was cool that they got to swim in the same pool as Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay. Oh, and for those of you wondering, yes I did have to save Isaac from drowning yet again. It happens every time we go swimming. What are we going to do with that kid?And go hiking. My parents, sister, and brother-in-law took Aubrey and Isaac hiking to an Indian cave. It is a huge cave where Indians once lived. Aubrey and Isaac's favorite part was a narrow passage that only they could fit through (I think Jonathan could too) that they name "the squishy". We also did some shopping, hair cutting, and lots of eating thanks to my mom. She made us yummy meals every night! It was nice to get away and not have to cook or do dishes and especially nice to have more people to entertain my kids. My mom would take the kids each morning (since they get up early) so that I could sleep in. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come and invade your house. We LOVE you!!
